The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has announced the '2025 Summer Regular Flight Schedule' that will operate from March 30 to October 25, 2025. According to this schedule, 4,783 international flights will operate weekly on 246 routes connecting 45 countries centered around Incheon Airport.
This flight schedule reflects seasonal travel demand and the implementation of daylight saving time in various countries, with a significant increase in flights corresponding to the resumption of overseas travel.

Resumption of Popular Routes and Increased Services to Europe and the Americas
Notable changes in this summer schedule include the resumption and increase of major routes to Europe and the Americas.
In particular, routes from Incheon to Zurich in Switzerland, Calgary in Canada, and Zagreb in Croatia will resume operations. Furthermore, flights to important cities in Europe and Central Asia are also increasing, including Prague in the Czech Republic, London in the UK, and Almaty in Kazakhstan.
Routes to the US and Canada will also operate regularly, including major cities such as New York, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Toronto. These changes are expected to provide more options for travelers.
Japan, Southeast Asia, and China Routes Also Well Established
The airline routes in Northeast Asia offer various direct flights to major Asian cities like Japan, China, and Taiwan.
Incheon Airport operates regular flights not only to several cities in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, etc.) but also to over 40 cities in China, as well as Taipei and Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
In addition to routes to Japan, China, and Taiwan, Gimhae Airport is increasing its direct routes to popular Southeast Asian destinations like Bangkok, Da Nang, Singapore, Cebu, and Bali.
This schedule includes new flights on the Incheon-Kobe route, and the Daegu-Fukuoka route is also being increased, expected to revitalize regional airports. Domestic Flights to Jeju Remain Stable, Inland Routes Strengthened
Among domestic airline routes, flights to Jeju operate 1,558 times a week from Gimpo to Jeju and Gimhae to Jeju, responding stably to high demand. Additionally, inland routes such as Gimpo-Ulsan, Incheon-Gimhae, and Gimpo-Gwangju maintain 1,850 weekly flights, similar to last year.
Domestic flights serve as an important transportation network connecting the metropolitan area and regional cities, and especially during peak times such as holiday seasons, the number of flights can be adjusted flexibly according to demand. Muan Airport Preparing for Resumption... Local Airports Expected to Revitalize
Muan Airport has entered preparations for resuming operations following an accident. It is reported that airlines will be supported after reviewing safety when they apply for operations. This increases the possibility of reopening air routes in the Jeollanam-do region.
Planned Organic Connection to Aviation Safety Innovation Measures
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has mentioned the possibility of adjustments to the flight schedule and is planning according to the 'Aviation Safety Innovation Measures' to be announced in April. They plan to respond flexibly through a comprehensive review of aircraft operations and personnel assignments.
The ministry's aviation policy director stated that, considering the high passenger demand on routes to Europe, Mongolia, and Central Asia during the summer season, there are plans to increase flights on these routes. In contrast, Southeast Asian routes with somewhat lower demand will be reduced. These practical adjustments prioritize passenger convenience.
He also emphasized that while safety is the top priority, efforts will be made to diversify routes and improve services to enhance the convenience of movement. Changes are anticipated in the future.

With the confirmation of the regular summer flights for 2025, overseas travel this summer is expected to become more accessible.
