Sacheon Aerospace Agency~Sejong Government Building intercity bus starts operations on May 7
Gyeongsangnam-do announced that an intercity bus route connecting the Aerospace Agency (Sacheon) and the Government Sejong Building will officially begin operation on May 7.
This new route is expected to not only improve public transport accessibility among regions but also strengthen collaboration between government departments.
Previously, there were no direct public transport options for traveling from the Aerospace Agency in Sacheon to the Government Sejong Building, causing inconveniences. Users had to transfer in Daejeon after traveling from Sacheon or Jinju to reach Sejong.
Therefore, the newly opened direct intercity bus route connecting the Aerospace Agency and the Government Sejong Building is expected to alleviate these inconveniences and significantly enhance the exchange of people and goods between the two regions.
Guide to Sacheon~Sejong intercity bus route and timetable
The newly started route departs from Samcheok Intercity Bus Terminal, passing through the Aerospace Agency, Sacheon, Jinju, Daejeon, and finally arriving at Sejong Intercity Bus Terminal. This transport service is operated by Gyeongjeon Passenger Transport Co., Ltd. and runs one round trip per day.
Starting April 25, online reservations are available, allowing users to conveniently access the service.
The running times are as follows. The bus from Sacheon to Sejong departs at 9:35 AM, and the return trip from Sejong to Sacheon departs at 3:55 PM.
The existing route that was operating between Samcheok and Daejeon has been adjusted to run only once a day, and the Samcheok~Aerospace Agency, Sacheon, Jinju, Daejeon, and Sejong Government Building route has been newly added to enhance convenience.

Boarding and alighting are possible at key bus stops. These bus stops include Samcheok Intercity Bus Terminal, Aerospace Agency, Sacheon Intercity Bus Terminal, Jinju Intercity Bus Terminal, Daejeon Complex Terminal, Sejong Government Building, and Sejong Intercity Bus Terminal.
Tickets can be purchased through the official website of Gyeongjeon Passenger Transport and at the reservation offices of the respective intercity bus terminals, with some available for direct purchase on-site.
Gyeongsangnam-do announced plans to carefully analyze passenger usage demand and boarding/deboarding patterns to flexibly adjust the number of operations and routes following the establishment of the new route.
