The 'Jubilee Lucky Apartment' located in Jure-dong, Sasang-gu, Busan, has officially begun the reconstruction process. The Busan Metropolitan City announced a residents' briefing session and public exhibition regarding the designation of the 'Tentative Jure 1 Reconstruction Project' on April 9, 2025.
The briefing session is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, April 29, at the main hall of the Sasang-gu Office, and the public exhibition will take place for 31 days from April 9 to May 9. This reconstruction project is expected to bring significant changes for the local residents.
The site consists of 595 Jure-dong in Sasang-gu and two adjacent parcels, with a total area of 92,963.2㎡. The 'Jubilee Lucky Apartment', completed in April 1987, has now been in place for about 35 years.
The residential complex comprises a total of 1,963 units, with housing types primarily focused on small and medium sizes ranging from 17 to 31 pyeong. In the past, a central heating system using city gas was operated, but the need for reconstruction has been consistently raised due to difficulties in winter heating, aging plumbing, and parking issues.

This complex, despite its inconveniences, is strategically located at the entrance of Sasang-gu near Busanjin-gu, providing excellent transportation accessibility. Thanks to its close proximity to subway stations and good connectivity with the East-West overpass, it offers high mobility.
Moreover, considering the potential for brand construction companies to enter the market along with the premium of large complexes, if reconstruction occurs, it is anticipated to develop into a landmark complex with approximately 2,100 to 2,200 units.
Recently, maintenance projects are actively underway around Sasang-gu, raising expectations for an increase in the value of nearby real estate. Once the maintenance zone is confirmed through residents' opinions, the project is expected to proceed, and much attention is also focused on subsequent procedures such as the establishment of unions and the selection of construction companies.

For the designation of the maintenance zone and the decision of the maintenance plan (tentative) regarding the Jure 1 reconstruction project in the area of 595 Jure-dong, Sasang-gu, Busan, in accordance with Article 15 of the 「Urban and Residential Environment Maintenance Act」 and Article 13 of the Enforcement Decree of the same law, we are conducting the public exhibition as follows and holding a residents' briefing session. If you have any opinions regarding the designation of the maintenance zone and the decision of the maintenance plan (tentative), please submit your written opinions to the Architecture Department of Sasang-gu Office within the public exhibition period.
